It’s here! Today, February 5th, 2025 is my Business Anniversary for Hammond International Inc. Twenty-eight years ago, my business was incorporated; in some ways, it doesn’t feel like 28 years. So many lessons in business! So many learning experiences and situations that took me out of my comfort zone.Â
When I opened my business in 1997, I was living in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Originally, my company was opened as a mediation and consulting practice. The business grew quickly and before long, I had a team of mediators and consultants providing a range of services to our corporate, business, and government clients. The learning was incredible. Not long after I opened the business, I found myself getting requests to provide training and professional development on conflict resolution, communication, leadership, and team culture. This is when I discovered my passion for speaking, and I have now presented to more than ½ million people around the world.
Today the business focuses on training, professional development, and consulting.
