About Charmaine Hammond
Charmaine Hammond is one of Canada’s leading authorities on conflict management, resilience, workplace wellness and mental health, and effective communication.
Over the last 30 years, the transformational speaker, entrepreneur, best-selling author, and educator has presented to more than half a million people and helped build strong, motivated teams in industries and communities around the world, from Canada to Singapore.
During her early work as a corrections officer, she began to develop strategies to help herself and others manage conflict in the workplace. She went on to work in the mental health field as a counsellor, program manager, and crisis responder. Continued education and experience made Charmaine all the more determined to teach others how to make their own workplace and the world a better, kinder place. This led her to corporate mediation and finally to public speaking.
Charmaine Hammond holds a Masters in Conflict Analysis, B.A. in Social Development, and certificates in Mediation and Conflict Management. She is also a Certified Professional Speaker (CSP) and a Certified Virtual Speaker.
